Donation & Sponsorship Requests
The Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre operates as a not-for-profit community facility that is self-supporting through admission fees, grants and donations.
Because of budget limitations we are unable to donate to many of the fantastic causes that contact us, even though we wish we could! The Centre is still committed to supporting our community and industry through donations of entrance passes when we’re able to. Due to the volume of requests received, we ask that all requests be submitted in writing to: marketing@oceandiscovery.ca . Please ensure your request includes the following information:
- Name of organization/cause
- Contact name and address
- Charitable Number
- Date of event/deadline for donation
- Value of donation required
- How will this initiative benefit our community or industry?
- How will the donation or sponsorship be presented?
All requests will be reviewed bi-weekly. Only those approved will be contacted. Donations outside of the Capital Region District will be mailed, all others will be held for pickup at Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre.
