New Elephant Seal Pup – Race Rocks

There is a new addition to the population of elephant seals on Race Rocks. This is the fourth recorded elephant seal birth at Race Rocks.

Elephant seals usually give birth in California. Race Rocks is the most northern range for the seals. For more info on Race Rocks and to observe the elephant seals with their videocam, please visit racerocks.com.

Join us on Dec 21-23 for family programs at the Centre. A great way to spend some time with the family and learn more about the Salish Sea and the animals that call it home.
